As we saw earlier today, editing can be done to put someone in a bad light... and, conversely, it can be done to put someone in a good light—or a better light than they were in in reality.

Hear that laughter after Adam's joke about an ice cream sandwich? It was obviously added in post-production. In other words, he never got that laugh. The real audience at Rachael Ray just politely applauded, probably in a Pavlovlian-like response to the blinking APPLAUSE sign.

So are we up in arms over Food Network's CENSORING of the truth in regards to Adam's comedic abilities? No. It's just the way the producers are choosing to tell this story. It's not like the judges are in on the editing process while the show is being taped. I highly doubt producers pumped some extra laughter into the judges room during Adam's demo, while adding a bunch of dead air during Lisa's. So let's all breathe a sigh of relief. Ahhhhh...

Oh, and go eat a banana cut in half with some yogurt and strawberries on it.
