Dang, Dave! Why you gotta mess with our emotions here in D.C.?

I just got word from DCist.com that Dave was a no-show at the Capital Food Fight I told you about last week. Ken Oringer had to fill in.

This happened to me back in August when Dave didn't do a scheduled appearance at Macy's. What's going on here, Dave? First of all, your Web site needs to be updated. It had a nice design overall, but you have a bunch of old, outdated info up there. And when we get our hopes up that you'll be at the place it says, it sucks when we call to find out "ummm... there's nothing scheduled here for something like that."

D.C. blogger Jordan Baker recalls a similar story on her blog about a Sur La Table book signing Dave cancelled on with less than 24 hours notice.

Glad I didn't spend the $125/ticket.
